Day 01 :

Arrival and Exploration of Marrakech

Welcome to Marrakech, Morocco’s vibrant Red City. After arriving and settling into your riad, begin exploring the historic Medina.

Visit the Koutoubia Mosque and its peaceful gardens before walking through Marrakech’s colourful souks. Discover traditional spices, carpets, leather products, jewellery, lanterns and artisan workshops.

Continue to Ben Youssef Madrasa and admire its carved cedarwood, decorative plaster and colourful zellige tiles. In the evening, return to Jemaa el-Fna to experience its lively food stalls, musicians and performers.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 02 :

Amizmiz and High Atlas Hiking

After breakfast, travel from Marrakech to Amizmiz, a small town situated at the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains.

Meet your local mountain guide and begin hiking along peaceful paths through beautiful valleys and traditional Amazigh villages. Observe the daily life of local farmers and discover the agricultural terraces built along the mountainsides.

Visit a local family and enjoy a traditional Moroccan lunch before continuing your walk. In the evening, arrive at an Amazigh family home, where you will share dinner and experience authentic mountain hospitality.

Day 03 :

High Atlas Villages and Return to Marrakech

Enjoy breakfast with your hosts before continuing your hike through the High Atlas Mountains. Explore nearby villages, cultivated terraces and traditional earth-built houses.

After completing the hike, return to Marrakech. Visit the historic Kasbah district, the Saadian Tombs and the remains of El Badi Palace.

Continue through the Mellah, Marrakech’s historic Jewish quarter, before visiting Bahia Palace and its beautiful courtyards, carved plaster and colourful Moroccan tiles.

Overnight in Marrakech.

Day 04 :

Essaouira and the Atlantic Coast

After breakfast, travel west towards Essaouira and Morocco’s Atlantic coast. The journey passes through open landscapes and areas known for their argan trees.

Upon arrival, explore Essaouira’s UNESCO-listed Medina, fishing port and historic seafront ramparts. Walk along the Skala de la Kasbah and enjoy panoramic views over the Atlantic Ocean.

Spend the afternoon exploring artisan shops, relaxing on the beach or joining an optional surfing, kitesurfing or horse-riding experience. Finish the day with freshly prepared seafood at a local restaurant.

Overnight in Essaouira.

Day 05 :

Return to Marrakech and Departure

Enjoy breakfast before leaving Essaouira and returning to Marrakech.

Along the way, you may visit a local women’s argan cooperative and learn how traditional culinary and cosmetic argan oils are produced.

After arriving in Marrakech, your remaining activities will depend on your departure time. If time permits, visit the Almoravid Koubba or the Marrakech Museum before transferring to your accommodation, airport or departure point.
